While our family has expanded to four, our garden friends have been busy as well! We are the proud parents of some enormous sunflowers (minus the actual flowers just yet) and we're home to both domestic variety and a few "transplanted" (that's a different story entirely) pumpkins (minus many actual pumpkins just yet).
And if you followed the above garden-variety sentence, below you can catch up on our prides and our joys.

Welcome Oliver. We're pretty darn excited about you. The last week has been a blur of boys...all of which are healthy. Hooray!
![]() I have approximately one week left to spoil Axel as an only child. We plan to spend this 100 degree (perfect pregnant person weather) week at the wading pool entirely! This is how Axel spends his time in the 1ft waters . . . under them. He is completely obsessed with "scuba" and rarely surfaces for air. While tennis camp was hit-and-mostly-miss, I think snorkeling is something he's got a grip on. As you may have guessed, next week is baby week. I plan to start the week pregnant and end the week staying up all night and brushing up on my diapering techniques. I almost feel a refresher course is needed...then again...it's like riding a bike...you never really forget the horror that is a blown-out diaper. For now however, we're spoiling Axel, trying to kick his thumb-sucking habit, attempting to clean the house, preparing freezer meals and just plain waiting. Hope you all have a cool place to hang out this week as I'm afraid much of the nation is in a global oven. I'll keep you updated. |
