![]() This is the way we go to school... Can't believe I just dropped Axel off for 9-4. He was crawling out of his skin with excitement. As you can see he even posed for a picture which is nearly impossible. Lunch packed, flower picked for his teacher (this kid is headed for politics) and one short scooter ride was all it took for start an awesome year of kindergarten. When we arrived at the school this morning things were a little different from how I remembered Kindergarten to be. If you wanted to walk your kid to their room v you had to check in at the office (super long line for this), they scan your photo ID and turn it into a name badge which will allow you to enter the building. Of course I didn't have my drivers license...the thought never crossed my mind. Axel said, "It's ok Mom, you just leave me at the door." I was determined to walk him in though, after all, by the time Oliver goes to school you'll probably have to leave a blood sample to get in...or it just won't be allowed - period. So, in rule-breaking fashion, I noticed a parent leaving the building. Before the door could slam shut behind him I stuck the front wheel of the stroller in the door and I was in like flynn. Classic. Axel knew just what to do. He was right. He didn't need me to walk him in...that part was just for me.
