This is Axel at nine. I didn't think I would let him turn nine – but he so insisted – so on-with-the-show I guess.
The only picture I managed to capture on this birth-stravaganza! It captures him exactly.
He is soft, unsure - yet confident, he is awkward at times. He can tie his shoes (even bowling ones), he didn't want to share "his" bowling ball - which clearly belonged to the bowling alley. He couldn't care less what other people think of him. He remembers everything...everything.
He tried to give me 9 kisses this morning but he accidentally gave me 11.
Axel managed to combine his friends and family into one today - a skill which takes many people a lifetime.
This is Axel at nine. I have so much left to learn about him - the kid has depth. I love that about him.
