![]() So excited today! I have finally decided to purge my prom dresses. Not to brag, but I'm not getting rid of them because they no longer fit...I am still able to zip them up! Ok, I'm bragging a little, but only because of the hundreds of miles I have to jog with a stroller to maintain some sort of figure. Anyhow, it's time to set them free and Operation Glass Slipper is exactly where they need to go. Collecting hundreds of gowns annually, Operation Glass Slipper offers no cost prom dresses to girls who need them! Wouldn't it be awesome if two special girls could dance the night away in my pre-loved dresses? Why haven't I gotten rid of them in the 10+ years before now? How is it possible that they have survived my EPIC purge fests? I can't answer that. However, as I boxed them up today there was something inside of me that was relieved they wouldn't be bought at the Goodwill and used as Halloween costumes...or worse yet for "vintage" wear. They're still pretty darn it!! Rock on Operation Glass Slipper! Thanks for recycling a piece of my high school past and giving girls a chance to feel gorgeous one gown at a time!
