We woke up this morning to a sparkling surprise! Snow! The first snow, like the last snow of the year always strikes me as beautiful...it's clean (covering up ugly brown fall/spring) and you don't have to shovel. When I woke Axel up to show him the surprise, the first thing out of his mouth was, "This is Ollie's FIRST snow!" Wow, I can't believe I was thinking about shoveling when we had someone in our house who was about to have a "first ever." With little wardrobe thought, we were out of the house in 5 minutes flat. Eating a banana and a fiber bar on the way to school Axel asked, "Can we pull over and let the snow come in our windows?" That's just what we did. I can't think of a single reason why being on time to school is more important than someones first snow of their whole life! (Please excuse the low-light early morning photos.) Minnesota Christened by snow. This made me laugh so hard that yesterdays mascara started to run. What made him want to put it on his head?

Nothing is more important than the morning you three shared! You were definitely born to be a mother, and a most excellent one at that.
